Reaching us by car

When using the navigation tool, it is important to enter the address accurately. Hostettstrasse 30, Wilen (Sarnen) (Zip Code 6062) - There are numerous similar location names in the region.

When you drive down the Hostettstrasse, do not go straight down to the lake at the pink house, turn left there before the GPS confirms your arrival. There you can park in the niche to the right of the large parking lot. When turning, please try to use this niche and not that one of the neighbors.

Reaching us by public transport

Your final train station is Sarnen main train station, about 20 minutes from Lucerne, 90 minutes from Interlaken. From there:

Option 1: taxi (standby in front of the Sarnen train station - no Uber here, about 20/30 CHF, 7 minutes)

Option 2: public bus 345 (running more or less every hour, bus stop Wilen, village "Dorf"), from there 500 meters to the Villa (quite steep, we suggest to take the taxi for the checkin).

Should we be available we can offer you a ride with our car from the train station when checking in (same for the checkout).

Check-in procedure

1. Let us know your approximate arrival time to get organized as soon as you know.
2. Text us when you are approaching or have arrived to welcome you on the parking lot.
3. Arriving by car: park at your designated area (see photo).
4. One of us will show you the rooms.

We recommend arriving by car. The villa is a little off the beaten tracks. Of course we are well connected to public transport - but we have found out that our guests have it much easier with cars. What's more, remote sights that are not so overrun can also be reached by car - for instance Mount Buergenstock.
